Trust Signal Insights ("Trust Signal Insights," "we," "us," or "our") operates trustsignalinsights.com and provides the Trust Signal Insights Snapshot, a diagnostic report for local small and medium-sized businesses ("Snapshot"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA").

By using our site or purchasing a Snapshot, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store your full credit card number, card verification code, or bank account details on our servers. Stripe's collection and use of your payment information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate our business:

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to deliver your Snapshot, respond to support and refund requests, and comply with our accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Payment records are retained by Stripe in accordance with its own retention practices. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymize it.

5. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the following rights with respect to your personal information:

Categories of personal information collected: identifiers (name, email address, phone number), commercial information (purchase history), and business contact information (business name, website, business address). We collect this information to fulfill the purposes described in Section 2 above.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@trustsignalinsights.com. We will verify your request using the information associated with your order and respond within 45 days, as required by law. This period may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Our site and Snapshot are intended for business owners and operators, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
